Barbara Connert-McDonaugh, MA

She has over 15 years’ experience in the field of product, textile, interior and light design.

Her studio was founded in 2019 in Innsbruck, Austria. She works in both the fields of art and design.

Her focus lies on exploring how light creates atmosphere and shapes spaces. Coming from a multidisciplinary design background with a deep understanding of technical lighting helps her to create new solutions and products for costumers.

Barbara studied product design at Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milan and Space&Design Strategy at University of Arts, Linz. She also holds a diploma in light design from Bartenbach academy.
Barbara designs bespoke lamps and lighting solutions which make the best use of the powerful medium of light.
